With the new website alloggi.studenti.unige.it, the University of Genoa (IT) helps you to find a flat, a room or a shared room. You can check all the rental proposals, complete with a description, pictures and other information, and read the reviews written by previous tenants.

A recent research, published on Corriere.it, highlighted the affordability of rent in the capital of the Liguria region, for both rooms and shared rooms for students.

In Genoa, the monthly cost for a single room is approximately 300 euro, slightly less than the national average, which is around 312 euro. The cost for a shared room in Genoa is among the lowest in Italy: around 150 euro.

The research has shown that these costs double if we move from Genoa to Milan, where rent for a single room is on average around 575 euro per month. The price for the same type of accommodation is around 400 euro in Rome and 350 euro in Bologna.
